Welcome to NUMID. By accessing or using our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
To access most features of the Service, you must register for an account using your phone number. You agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
NUMID provides a crowd-sourced phone number lookup service. Users upload their device contacts to a shared index, allowing others to search phone numbers and discover who has saved them.
By uploading your contacts, you acknowledge and agree that:
The Service uses a virtual currency called "Coins." Coins are used to perform paid actions within the app (e.g., extra searches, revealing identities, removing your number from results).
Daily free searches (up to the limit set by the admin) are provided at no charge and reset each calendar day.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
Any user may remove their own phone number from the search index through the app (subject to a coin fee). Once removed, your number will not appear in search results conducted by other users. We process removal requests promptly, but existing cached results may take up to 24 hours to clear.
The Service, including its content, features, design, and source code, is owned by NUMID and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission.
By uploading content to the Service (including contact data), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that data for the purposes described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
NUMID is not responsible for any decisions made based on information obtained through the Service. The Service is intended for informational purposes only.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NUMID shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or reputational harm.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Coins remaining in a terminated account are forfeited.
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
